As you know, we select registrants to check their identity against the details they provide with the domain name registration. From October, it will be possible to verify your customers' contacts yourself under strict conditions. You can already try it on our test environment.
How does it work?
- We add an addendum to your contract with us that you need to sign. We then activate ' Registrant Verification @ Registrar' in your account.
- In My registrations, we add an extra permission; in EPP you need to add a new extension to indicate which contact you verified yourself.
- For each contact, you will have to indicate which official document you used for verification and the date this was done.
- If this is correct, your contact will be automatically verified.

What to do if you want to test this?
Contact support@dnsbelgium.be to start testing in our test environment. You do not need to sign the addendum at this moment.
