Technical Marketing Specialist

Will you be our new technical marketer?

Our communication team is missing one essential member: an analytical colleague who is good with words. Our team currently consists of two women. We take care of internal and external communication projects, some big, some small. This leaves precious little time for content creation, social media and analysis. However, we have big plans for this.

Do you want to join our team? We'd like to get to know you! Send an e-mail to jobs@dnsbelgium.be.

About you

  • You have at least two years of work experience in digital communication and specifically in online advertising and social media marketing.
  • Short copy comes easily to you: you 'get' social media, your captions are 'on point'. You easily adapt your communication style to the target group.
  • Looking at figures and analysing them is your thing. You try out, measure, adapt and evaluate. You're interested in other perspectives and involve your colleagues in what you do.
  • You stand up for your opinions and ideas. You're not afraid to make videos or photographs.
  • You're prepared to learn and grow in your job. We don't expect you to edit videos or create designs. However, we do expect you to try out things and show enthusiasm for expanding your knowledge or taking training courses.

This is your job

  • One with plenty of opportunities. You can leave your mark on our social media: this is your field. Our Instagram account is still a blank page, and is waiting for you to fill it.
  • In terms of content planning you take the lead: This applies to the content of our website and our social media channels.
  • Working with our content agency and an external copywriter are also part of this.
  • In addition to digital advertising (AdWords, AdGrants, social media campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), you also look at the figures and make in-depth analyses. You optimise ads based on performance metrics. You analyse the visitor numbers of our website and link them to conclusions and new campaigns.
  • In the team you work on developing and implementing our communication strategy
  • Your job requires accuracy. Documentation is also an important part of this.
  • You're a member of a great, self-managing team and you play your part in it. Our way of working demands that we play off and trust each other. After all, you will (in the long run) work autonomously on projects.

Important for this role

  • Communication via social media holds no secrets for you. Making a social media update is a piece of cake, it practically writes itself. You like to experiment with photo and video content. You have excellent general writing skills.
  • You're already able to launch advertising campaigns successfully; you'll be given room to grow.
  • It's important that you're resourceful: you get to work and find solutions when you're stuck. And you're able to create, evaluate and adapt interesting content autonomously.
  • Measuring gives you energy. You don't mind looking at the figures behind campaigns and reporting on them in order to learn from them with your team. Analytical skills are important in other words.
  • You speak Dutch and French fluently
  • We're a big player in the internet world with a heart for sustainability. We're committed to (digital) inclusion, more cyber security and a minimal environmental impact. We expect you to see the added value of this and to share our passion for all things digital and sustainable.
