Why .be Sustainable?
As manager of the .be, .vlaanderen and .brussels domain names, DNS Belgium is an ambassador of corporate social responsibility on the Belgian IT market. For us, corporate social responsibility and sustainability is as much about our ecological and environmental impact as it is about social considerations and governance aspects.
Our main mission is to serve society in the digital domain. In our view, this implies that we
- avoid our activities having a negative impact on society and the environment;
- minimise or offset actual negative impacts;
- above all, strengthen our positive impact on society.
These three points are of strategic importance for DNS Belgium, and that is why we came up with .be Sustainable.
