DNS Belgium's mission goes further than managing .be, .vlaanderen and .brussels domain names. Our job is to ensure a secure internet in Belgium and actively work on a sustainable digital future.
This is why DNS Belgium wants to play a pioneering role in terms of sustainability and corporate social responsibility in its sector. While make our own ecological impact as small as possible, we also try to have a positive impact on society. One of the ways we do this is by inspiring organisations in our sector.
To reinforce that ambition, .be Sustainable was launched.
Registrars inspire registrars
The aim of .be Sustainable is not only to encourage our registrars to respect Corporate Social Responsibility principles, but also to set sustainable goals and make their practices more sustainable. We want to encourage the whole IT sector to integrate sustainable practices into their business strategies.
We do that by using .be Sustainable to share inspirational examples and best practices of fellow registrars in Belgium and abroad. Full of verve, they talk about the initiatives they take, the small and large things they do to make a difference for their employees, customers, society and the environment.
This allows us to learn from each other and strive towards a more sustainable digital future together.
