The transfer code is the code you need to transfer your domain name from one registrar to the other or in order to transfer your domain name to another registrant .
The transfer code for .be consists of 5 times 3 numbers separated by a hyphen.
Transfer code for .be
You can request that code directly with us using the box below or with any registrar.
The registration system of DNS Belgium sends your code by e-mail. You provide that transfer code to your new registrar if you want to change registrar, or to your current registrar with a request to transfer your domain name to another holder.
Please note that this e-mail might be blocked by your mail server . Add no-reply@dnsbelgium.be to your address book or whitelist our domain name. This way, your mailbox knows that it is allowed to receive our e-mails. How exactly whitelisting is done, depends on your e-mail client. Look it up on Google, ask your IT person or your e-mail provider.
The transfer code received is valid for 7 days. If you request the code again within those 7 days, the period of validity is extended by 7 days. You can request the code only 4 times in a row within 7 days. If the code is requested a fifth time, an error message will appear and you will not be able to ask for a transfer code in the next 7 days. If the transfer code can no longer be requested you can contact the DNS Belgium support team via support@dnsbelgium.be.
Is your domain name in quarantine and will it be released before the 7 days are up? Then the 7 days expire and the code is only valid until the domain name comes out of quarantine.
Transfer code for .vlaanderen and .brussels
You can ask your current registrar for the transfer code for your domain name. This transfer code is always the same for a .vlaanderen or .brussels domain name. You then send the transfer code to your new registrar who can use it to file a transfer application with DNS Belgium.
